Apr. 3rd, 2024 09:53 pmThe Doctor — often referred to as the Starman — maintains a humanoid form without being entirely corporeal. His being manifests as radiant starlight, shimmering and swirling with cosmic energy much like the βlast hurrahβ of a dying massive star, the supernova associated with the blessings he grants. Mortals might perceive him as a beacon of hope and light and he would appear at times to almost exist between multiple dimensions, phasing in and out of time and space, existing everywhere and nowhere, appearing and disappearing in bursts of brilliant color. Often, he arrives when needed most without ever being asked, before disappearing just as quickly as he came.
When angered, he would appear as an event horizon from which no light can escape; essentially akin to flares of fury.
To fellow gods:
While the Doctor still retains most of his familiar outward appearance, his arms and the backs of his hands are adorned with intricate patterns resembling constellations and these markings shimmer and change shape at times depending on his mood and emotions. The Doctor's physical form also glows and radiates with a soft, ethereal light reminiscent of starlight and his floppy hair has a faint luminescence. At his happiest and in states of pure euphoria, his eyes sparkle like distant stars and you might catch a brief glimpse of swirling galaxies in those eyes. When he's angry or caught in a rage, his eyes will be an obsidian black color void of any light.
Rather than his usual waistcoat outfit, the Doctor can be seen wearing a tunic-style outfit, the markings on his hands easily visible.
He seems to struggle at times with getting too close or not close enough. When he disappears, it is said that he seems to slowly fade into the air with an accompanying sound like a faint low, wheezing hum. A wanderer with no tether to one place within the world of Abraxas, the Doctor feels he belongs with all corners of this world and the vastness beyond; as such, his movements are unpredictable, his "home" scattered. The only place he tends to visit most frequently is the Singularity. He exists, he believes, to watch over all life, both sentient and non-sentient, and seems to fade in and out of existence much like the phases of the stars themselves — glowing bright for a time when needed most, and going back to the shadows where the light is held like a breath until it's needed again.
